Our guardian home program entitles a family to adopt a puppy which will become a part of the guardian home's family forever.  We require the guardian home to be no further than one to two hours driving distance from our location.  The puppy will be pick of the litter and well thought out for confirmation and temperament.  All breeding rights are retained solely by Ruff'n Ready Doodles for a set time which will be discussed individually with each guardian home.

 

Ruff'n Ready Doodles will provide all genetic health tests for the puppy in the guardian home and will spay/neuter the dog once the breeding career has ended at our discretion. We expect the guardian family to raise the puppy with proper high quality nutrition, grooming, obedience training and in a safe caring environment with a schedule that does not allow the puppy home alone for long periods of time.  A fenced secure yard must be provided for the puppy.  The puppy must live indoors and not left unattended in a yard. Transportation to meet or bring the dog for breeding purposes to us must be willingly attainable.  

 

All breeding related medical costs for the guardian dog will be at the expense of Ruff'n Ready Doodles, all routine maintenance and medical care will be the responsibility of the guardian family as they would if they had their own dog.  We do ask for photos of the puppy to add to our website. We estimate approximately 2-3 litters from our female dogs prior to ending her breeding career she will have her puppies whelped at our home and returned once puppies are weaned. The male stud dog will have a longer breeding span we will end his career at our discretion. All breeding dogs will be spayed or neutered at the expense of Ruff'n Ready Doodles by our vet or a vet of our choice.

 

The guardian family receives a puppy to bring into their home as though it was their forever dog, a puppy chosen for future breeding by Ruff'n Ready Doodles.  A contract will be made in place for guardianship of the puppy to be signed by both parties.
